Grampians and Daylesford Trip 03.01.16 ~ 04.01.16

alright..
lets talk about the trip for abit..
it was amazing for me..
finally get to go out for some road trip after so long in Melb..

so the places that I went to are Grampians and Daylesford..
Grampians is the national park north west of Melb and pretty close to the border of Vic and SA..
its a 3 hour drive from the city and the view along is quite nice too..
the skies were pretty scary when we were on the way as according to weather forecast there might be 80% of a thunderstorm happening..
it might not be the best for us as we are going to have a short hike into the mountains..
it did happen but not near us..
lucky for us..

i guess this gonna be the first time my blog post gonna have so many photos..

im gonna enjoy this post some time in the future too..

there are a few lookout and the falls itself that is the main attraction here..

and then next is the Reed Lookout and the Balconies..
1km walk..
worth it..

 some rock formations along the trail..

weather wasnt that good but its not as bad as it forecasted..

it looks much scarier when u are at there..

but it is so nice..

not much that has been taken over here..
just typical views from the mountains..

next stop..
Daylesford..
a town 1.5 hour away from Melb..
famous for its spring reserves..

drove 2 hour to there from Grampians..
arrived there around 10pm..
slept so well after a tiring day..

so we went to the spring reserves park and have a look..
went to the bathhouse as well..
nice..
relaxing..
but prefer hot spring though..

after the bathhouse..
next destination is the Chocolate Mill..
some nice chocolates in there but i didnt buy any as i dont eat much chocolate..
and also didnt buy chocolate for anyone..
hahahaha..
but the hot chocolate that i got from there..
it was so so nice..
love it!

Lavandula is the next and final stop of our short trip..
i knew this couple of places from my travel plan before..
planned it and thought that i wont have the chance to travel here..
but i did!!!
hahahaha..
at least its not a waste to have that travel plan..

that is the end of it..

really enjoyed this trip and hope to have more road trip like this again in the near future..

there are quite a few places in mind already that i wanna go travel to..

like 3-4 places in Vic that i am currently interested in..
